San Francisco’s light jazz group Atmos Trio launches upon an atmospheric touchy jazz album that belittles no one (unlike many neo-jazz albums these days) and instead concentrates on inviting the listener inward. As if somehow able to whisper inside our ear, Atmos Trio swears up and down about how relaxing the trip will be. And they’re right. This is a relaxed jazz session not too dissimilar from a week long cruise through the Mediterranean.
