Daniel Rogers — This Side of the Green Arrow Buy it at Amazon
Clearly this album isn’t intended for all listeners. It starts with a robotic flanged vocal that makes you feel as if you were just whisked up to 2001 or something. Then it all gets masked away underneath a soft female vocal. The album is very much like this—rich and deep, always compelling you to take a bit of a chance. Singer/songwriter blues-pop that doesn’t fit in one particular genre or another. Lyrically it’s interesting and intricate. Check it out.
