Jamie King — Innercore Buy it at Amazon
Young singer/songwriter (okay he’s two years younger than me but still) Jamie King is surprisingly mature in both his chops and his lyrics. Born in Edinburgh and then growing up in South Africa, he has no doubt seen more of the darker sides of the world with Apartheid South Africa still going strong during his life there than most Americans will ever see in their lifetimes. Strong vocals and well rehearsed guitar rhythms make “Inner Core” more than just a pleasant listen.
