Warped industrial outfit Cenotype has shunned the latest EBM trend in industrial music for more of a classic harsh industrial sound. Akin to the more brash and twisted forms of industrial music, “Origins” is heavy, stinking, and dark. Energetic pulse-biters are still present reminding one of the great Psychopomps in delivery. Caustic synths and thick ambient soundscapes surround the driving rhythms to forge a trance-riddled psychotic dance that no one will emerge from completely unscathed.
