Cranes & Crows — Blame Winter Buy it at Amazon
Paul Brandt is the singer/songwriter as well as guitarist and keyboardist in Cranes & Crows. His style of writing is far from amateur with poignant lyrics and a disarming sense of charm. Sounding like a stripped down Dashboard Confessional with a bit of Braid mixed in. Lo-fi indie pop that was recorded in a variety of intimate settings including churches, bedrooms, and basements, “Blame Winter” is a nod to their native Wisconsin’s harshest of seasons.
