Chrisopher Blue — Room Tones Buy it at Amazon
Seattle musician Chrisopher Blue almost was willing to throw it all away. But he decided to say fuck it and record an album. And record an album he did. “Room Tones” manages to bring a raw edge to the singer/songwriter genre that is as honest as an apartment recording but as devilishly clear as a major production. His vocals rip and soar while the song arrangements are surprisingly bright, bountiful, and fancy. This is good stuff and completely well versed in the history of vocally-driven music.
