Driving rhythms that are deftly blended with pop punk melodies and screamo fury, “Lush” is Henceforth’s debut. Orange County natives, Henceforth is a spot stain in a scene that has seen the likes of Social Distortion, Thrice, and the Offspring among others and then was spun into a rather lame teen drama on Fox. As rich in harmonies as it is in abrasive screams and melodic keyboards, “Lush” is a furious listen that has a lot of promise.
