Red Sammy captures the hope in desperation, the beauty in imperfection with honest songwriting. Life, work, hard work, disappointment, love and loss are all themes entwined in their songs. Influences both literary and musically include Flannery O'Connor, Ernest Hemingway, William Carlos Williams, Alejandro Escovedo, Tom Waits, Johnny Cash. Currently, the band consists of songwriter Adam Trice along with a variety of talented local Baltimore musicians.
