Chiodos
Perhaps no one can explain the sheer ferocity and timid quietness it is better than when vocalist Craig Owens says “we don’t want to let the kids down” when discussing the group’s intense vocals live at shows. Well they never let a single kid down with their vicious assault on the ears and grip on the jugular...

Your PR Girl is proud to present Lenny Revell's South Florida Tour 2008. A rising star of the Buffalo NY and New York City music scene, Lenny Revell bring his critically acclaimed songs and music to South Florida in a special tour. This is a great opportunity to see a brilliant young talent up close and personal in Delray Beach, Hollywood, Margate, and Miami Florida. Jeff Miers of The Buffalo News called Lenny " a modern-day Elton John". Please go to Lenny Revell's website for updates and added shows.
Lenny Revell stands armed with nothing but a piano and a mic in a music world dominated by raspy-singing guitar players, and rap stars. Seasoned by years of classical training, influenced by the pop/rock world, he's been called our generation’s Elton John and/or Billy Joel – ready to take the world by storm with his unique soul/pop/rock/classical sound. After initial piano training starting at age 9, and venturing off to write his first song at 16, Revell was floored upon his discovery of Elton John, and slowly started singing lessons to follow in his idol's footsteps. Being a martial arts expert on the side of a pianist has garnered him the name "The Piano Dragon" among fans and peers, and his imitated, yet never duplicated style has already started to catch fire in various circles.
To witness Lenny Revell performing is something that must be experienced to be understood. His soulful voice echoes both worlds of pain and longing to sharp rock edginess that leaves one in their seats overloaded with emotion. His singing has been called everything from R & B to Broadway, from Billy Joel to Bon Jovi-esque. His piano playing is another matter unto itself. Transforming between slow and sparse chords to all out marathons that arguably involve every technique that has been attempted on the instrument, his hands can move with the sensitivity of a precise balladeer to a blur reminiscent of a concert artist being possessed by the legendary Franz Liszt. Between sets he is extremely personable, charming, and displays a warming, yet off-the-wall sense of humor that breaks the ice in a room full of anybody from drunk regulars to the most cynical of critics.
Lenny Revell's album "Lessons" introduces the world to a Eurasian’s vision of eastern philosophy mixed into the format of a modern pop/rock sound. Each song is a "lesson", explaining how mankind can better himself through the process of self examination, in a world fueled by superficiality and limited mindsets. The CD empowers the listener to take personal responsibility for their own thoughts and actions, bringing about timeless staples of idealism in an ever changing society. Mixed in with these self-help melodies is the dark humor employed in songs like Ghost or Prelude/Revenge of Little Red Riding Hood that's a throwback from the golden age of the 20th century layered with a contemporary feel.
