Kaki King is excited to release her first album on new label, Rounder Records and her fifth record to date “Junior” on April 13, 2010. Once again returning to a mature singer/songwriter and guitarist-centric sound, “Junior” was produced by Malcolm Burn (Patti Smith, Emmylou Harris) and her first after a long absence while she was hard at work on various other projects and touring in support of the generous critical acclaim she has received.
The guitarist has also recently collaborated with uber-producer Timbaland to produce a song featuring Miley Cyrus.
The first leg of the North American tour has been confirmed. The dates are below. More will be announced soon.
