Smother Magazine Band Spotlight: Codeseven

Codeseven have helped shape and define aggressive music for quite some time. With their latest offering, they've moved on towards more melodic and serene atmospheric modern rock. While some lesser bands would have isolated their fan base with this shift in focus, Codeseven wraps their collective arms around
each fan and caresses them along for the ride. Inventive and imaginative, Codeseven's progression feels natural and never forced. Since they're beginning in '95 Codeseven has always defined their unique sound paving the way for other bands to attempt to follow in their footsteps; yet Codeseven was always a lap ahead
of their peers--that is if you can consider this band to have peers. Look up "genius" and there's an album worth of Codeseven.
