A tremendous juggernaut of a modern indie rock band has landed. Their name? The Snake The Cross The Crown. Why that name? Apparantly named after a mysterious birthmark on one of the members, The Snake The Cross The Crown have forged perhaps
the only record worthy of true comparisons to the greatness of Radiohead and Thom Yorke. But righting the ship towards similar bands is not all fair--indeed this is a band that stands on its own soap box and shakes its fist shouting at the world to be heard.
And boy do we hear. And so did Equal Vision Records; after signing the band due to their groundbreaking debut EP, "Like A Moth Before A Flame", released on Waste of Time Records, Equal Vision set about to further fuel the buzz that had already been
circulating the underground rock scene. Seemingly able to paint a portrait of rock's familiarity with indie's pristine ability to sound fresh while using brushstrokes of bleepy electronica, The Snake The Cross The Crown prove that their more than just an intriguing moniker.
