Smother Magazine Band Spotlight: Dayinthelife
Dayinthelife is a great band off of TVT Records. Their sound is uncomparable to most other bands currently out there. They are from Long Island and combine melodic vocals with a crunchy guitar sound and tight percussion and basslines. They joined Soulfly and (hed) pe for the Strangeland Tour and have also toured with the likes of Vision of Disorder. Although, not your typical hardcore band, dayinthelife have many of the fundamental sounds of a hardcore band and can hang with the most brutal and the most melodic of hardcore. Dayinthelife certainly will be taking the music world by storm and have already gotten off to a great start.
