Aphrodite with over 40 releases under his belt adds to the mix his latest CD "Aftershock". Being a leader in the jungle and drum&bass scene is not only a challenge but at times can bring its own sense of strife with it. There are many haters within the fickle jungle community who hate to see him succeed time after time because
he brings mainstream appeal to the jungle scene. Whether he's dropping bomb after bomb in a club or remixing the latest tune, Aphrodite is in the heart of the jungle community whether the pundits like it or not. His highly successful label Aphrodite Recordings is responsible for some of the best jump up and ragga tunes as well as straight up dark jungle.
Slowly but surely the jungle scene is becoming more pervasive in mainstream music and as time will show Aphrodite will continue to be at the head of the class with a huge catalog to back him up.
