Smother Magazine Band Spotlight: Mauro Picotto
Mauro Picotto's popularity as a DJ is growing very quickly. He is the manager of BXR label and has had not only a lenghty career spinning trance and progressive house but also as a producer.
He has recently had for the second time 4 nominations at the German Dance Awards 2000: he won 3 awards, as best International Dj, Best Producer, and for the single "Komodo" as radio hit of the year. You probably have heard his newest smash hit "Like This Like That" which is a popular favorite
among huge names like Paul Oakenfold and Paul Van Dyk as well as thousands of DJs across the world. Mauro Picotto has been helping the techno scene get more and more mainstream (for better or worse). He's next release "Metamorphose" is set to come out 5/21.
