Smother Magazine Band Spotlight: Downset
With a new release "Check Your People" due out on 10-17-00 after being newly inked onto Epitaph Records, downset is prepared to take the world by storm. Their past has been riddled by critics both good and bad (most notably the Rage Against the Machine drama a few years back) and they were also dropped from their label Mercury Records when the massive record label merger occurred a couple years back. But downset has shed all of that and is ready once again to do some touring, play some great hardcore meets rap music, and help further redefine the scene that they helped create with songs like "Anger". They also were on the Tattoo the Earth tour recently. Check them out!
