Smother Magazine Band Spotlight: As Tall As Lions

As Tall As Lions
A warm sweater of sounds woven from the fabric of art rock and held together with the threads of indie pop. Murmurs of hopeful lyrics. Gurgling brooks of tantalizing sonic obscurity. They are As Tall as Lions but you should not fear them. Moist guitar strings ring out with ladled effects with elements of Brit-Pop dashed in to spice things up. A smart young band signed to East West Records, As Tall As Lions had already turned many attentive heads with their "LAFCADIO" album. But few would have expected their self-titled incredible follow-up. Keep a watchful eye on this emerging talented indie group.
